Bangladesh is located in Southern Asia. It borders the Bay of Bengal and is between the countries India and Burma. Bangladesh is 143,993 sq km. In comparison to the United States, it would cover about 1.8%. The land in Bangladesh consists mostly of flat plains that consistently have a flooding problem. The Ganges river runs through this location and then joins the ocean.
Such a nice blog you have!
ReplyDeleteThe similarities between Bangladesh and the country I am wringing about, Norway, is that they are both relatively small in area compared to the US. Whats different is that Norway is nearly surrounded with oceans, and it is also very mountainous. In Norway there is a lot of fjords, deep valleys, high mountain peaks, a long coastline, and a lot of lakes. In comparison Bangladesh only boarders to the ocean in the south, and consists of mostly flat plains, as you mention. I would say that Bangladesh has a very different geography than Norway.
